Our Study and Culture Center to Disposal of immigrants

The problems of the Caucasian immigrants are still unsolved, even if they live in miserable conditions in Turkey for years. IMKANDER provides the education in 4 different languages in the culture center at the Caucasian children’s disposal, who are allowed to take part in the schools as the guests. The majority of the children provided with the education are the orphans.

ISTANBUL- The troubles of the Caucasian’s Immigrants are still unsolved, who immigrated to Turkey by living their homes and lands deserted, due to the cruelty in the Chechnya by the Russia.  The Caucasian immigrants are dependant upon the donations of the charitable people and sensitive non-governmental organizations, since they are not allowed to be immigrant and right to work for living.  Mostly, the children of the Chechnian immigrant suffer from all these.  The children are deprived from the status of immigrant and nationality and therefore, they are allowed to take part in the classes as guest students only. They are left all alone without any diploma.

Training on 4 different languages

Looking after the Caucasian immigrant, IMKANDER also serves the immigrants’ children in providing training and education.  To this end, The Caucasian immigrants’ women and children are provided with the training in IMKANDER Bashak Caucas Culture Center in Başakşehir Istanbul.  The culture center exclusively serves to the immigrant people, where the free training is provided to the boys and girls seated separated from each other.  The effort is made to provide training in 4 languages including mainly Arabic, Turkish, Russian and Chechenian languages, in the fields of the social sciences and fundamental algebra, in addition to religious training.  The teacher assigned by Public Training Management provides Turkish courses on behalf of immigrant women and children in the classroom established IMKANDER Bashak Caucas Culture Center.  There are two classrooms in the center.  The women and children are provided with the courses on Turkish, English, Russian, Arabic, mathematic, visual arts and Quran.  The center is exclusively established for care of the orphan children of the martyrs.  The training activities are also available during the weekend in the center, in particular on Arabic, Quran, prophetic biography and hafiz.

Immigrants’ worries on personal security

IMKANDER Bashak Caucas Culture Center are funded by the charitable people. IMKANDER officials express their desire to obtain further contribution by the charitable people for providing better ambient on behalf of the immigrants. IMKANDER officials state that the Caucasian’s Immigrants worry on their personal safety, difficulties they face in obtaining the residence permission and renewal thereof. They also comment that the immigrants are facing difficulties in settling in their living in exile due to such problems they face.

Public support to Chechnian immigrants

IMKANDER tries to extend its helping hand to the Caucasian’s immigrant, thanks to the contributions of the charitable people, however, their efforts are not enough. IMKANDER officials list the steps to be taken by the government on behalf of the Caucasian immigrants, which will be true solution of the people immigrated from the Chechnya in their lives in exile, as follows: “The most important problem the Chechnian immigrant are faced is providing permanent residence and employment permission.  The public officials have promised the right for the citizenship; however, no progress has obtained in this regard until now.  The matter is in an uncertain state.  The solution of the problem by the government is expected.  We look forward for a step in solution of the problem completely.”

Living together with orphans

Gulten Ozkan, Public Training Teacher, who is assigned by Public Training Center to teach Turkish to the immigrant women and children states that she observe due diligence to make contribution. She continues: “The demand is exceptionally high. Our classrooms are insufficient. We will accept more people if we would have better infrastructure.  We request the charitable people to visit IMKANDER and have information on the problems.  They may also visit Internet website.  The majority of these are orphan children.  Here, we live together with the orphan children. Everyone should observe due diligence to give their helping hand.”

Resources scarcity

Mrs. Tamara, who teaches Russian to immigrant children, says: “The children here are deprived from attending to the formal education provided by National Education.  This center is operated by IMKANDER.   We teach the children how to read and write here.  We suffer from the scarcity of the resources here.  We work in a flat operated as the school.  We would like to teach immigrant children in such places similar to those provided by the formal education; unfortunately this is all we have to satisfy ourselves.”

Looking forward for decent conditions

Mrs. Sumeyye, providing prophetic biography on behalf of the children says that they suffer from the lack of the resources. She continues: “We, the immigrants, suffer from the lack of resources here. We are deprived from the right to have the citizenship here and therefore, we are deprived from basic needs like obtaining formal training, health services, etc.  We aren’t provided with any one of these services.  We should at least be provided with the fundamental services and this should not be grudged.”

Looking after helps and contributions of Muslims

Mrs. Sumeyye continues: “I would like to remind the Muslims on the fact that, we are all Muslims and we have to help to each other in this earth in any condition whatsoever.  We have to share and live the sorrow and joy of the Muslim people together. We should observe due diligence to console those suffering Muslim people.  The Muslim people are under consistent attacks in many part of the world.  This is the same in the Caucasia.  We are looking for any kind of donation from the Muslim people, just because we’ll all pay the price before the Allah.  We had to leave our lands since we were tortured. Thanks Allah for the help given to us in anywhere and any time as we witnessed until now.  I hope that the Chechnya and the Caucasia through out will be free and we believe with all my heart.  Someday, Allah will make Islam dominate throughout the world.”

Children’s sentiments…

“My name is Fatima. I’m from the Chechnya.  I’m ten years old.  I’m here in Turkey since three years. We came here because the war is ongoing in the Chechnya.  I learn Quran, prophetic biography, Arabic, Russian and Turkish in the school operated by IMKANDER.”

Looking for going back to home…

“My name is Cuneyt. I’m from Dagestan.  I’m thirteen years old.  I’m here in Turkey since six years.  Here, I learn the life of our Prophet Mohammed and English.  I learned Turkish here in this school.  We are four brothers. One of my brother also lives here.  I’m grateful to IMKANDER since it helps us. They make great deal of favor. We came here because the war is ongoing in the Dagestan.  There, we were suffered from the attacks to our home.  Then we came here.  They don’t let us live in our land. I hope that the war will be over and we will be back to our home again.
