INTERROGATION ON CHECNYAN MURDERS BE EXTENDED

6 suspected were captured with respect to their relation to Checnyan’s murders in Istanbul upon simultaneous operation conducted by Anti-Terror Office of Istanbul Police Center and Ruslan Babasgiri, a Georgian citizen, nicknamed “Zona”, who was considered as the agent of the Russian Intelligence and arrested during his first trial by the court.
This is the first time that a suspected of the murders, together with the relevant proofs, in the chain of murdering of 5 Checnyans during last 4 years in Istanbul. Arrested on account of the suspected of Ali Osaev murder on 2009 in front of his house, Zona was considered as involved in the plan for murdering Şemseddin Bukayev, former Checnyan Sheikh al-Islam, who was saved at the last moment, by providing assistance in obtaining the gun in the attack, as provided under Police’s records. The search of suspected house revealed three Austrian made Sig Sauer brand shot guns, which is said to be used by the Intelligent Services. It is also necessary to conduct investigation on the possible future assassinations.
“The judicial assistance” previously offered by Paris Attorneys on the activities of that crime organization formed by the Russian Intelligence and Kadirov administration should be reviewed, interrogation be conducted in relation with the assassinations in Qatar, Austria and France and have the interrogation conducted at the international level.
It is clear that the important progress has been made by the interrogations conducted by Istanbul Police for clarifying Checnyan murders. On the other hand, they are not sufficient, since Alexander Zharkov and Nadim Ayupov, the Russian agents, were not arrested to be included into this interrogation, even if the red bulletin was issued. We hope that existing interrogation will be continued by extending its scope, and concluded by initiating legal proceedings on those Russian agents and those who are providing shelter on their behalf in Turkey.
