YALOVA REFUGEE CAMP IS ON THE SPOT

We delivered foodstuff and household goods to Yalova camp during our visit on Sunday.

YALOVA REFUGEE CAMP IS ON THE SPOT

Yalova Camp in which 27 family lives are quite far away from city center and there is no facility for shopping.

Buildings constructed for summer season are quite old and not eligible for winter conditions.

Power supply of the camp is cut for long time and power is provided by a generator delivered by Imkander. Since the generator cannot generate sufficient power to operate refrigerators, families salts down their foodstuff.

Refugees seeking to find a way to be protected against winter conditions found a way to stick blue polystyrene plate to the walls of their barracks.

Camp representative Mr. Barakat we discussed on these issues said "30 insulation material is needed for one home in average and 10 barracks need insulation material in total.

Imkander bought the Generator for the camp.
