The process of closure of Caucasian-Chechen Immigrant Camps implemented this year upon decision adopted previous year is under progress.
Following the abandonment of the Yalova camp, the camp at Fenerbahçe, Istanbul was abandoned previous week.
Likewise, camps in Umraniye ad Beykoz, Istanbul were also abandoned and the immigrants there were settled in TOKİ residences at İlimtepe, Körfez, Kocaeli.
We consider the process positive and support, which we’ve been informed that has been under the supervision of Mr. Naim Şahin himself, Ministry of Internal Affairs, upon initiatives of our Board of Directors and Legal Committee conducted with the officials in Yalova Camp.
It is said that the immigrants will be granted with the donation of the boarding and accommodation for 1-year period during their relocation from the camps under the supervision of Istanbul and Yalova Governors.
We would like to announce to the public that we will keep looking after the rights of our immigrant brothers.
