They are in Darkness for 15 Months

We call officials for duty. The camp located in Yalova in which Chechen Refugees are living has no electric supply for 15 months.

They are in Darkness for 15 Months

4 camps in which Caucasian war weary families are located in Turkey were visited by some NGO representatives under guidance of Imkander. Officials who saw the conditions in the camps expressed that they observed worse conditions in Yalova Camp than other camps.

Various NGO representatives who declared that they are informed on the problem after Imkander put the subject into agenda mentioned that power problems of Yalova camp have to be solved and families have to be provided fuel in enough amount to be safe during winter.

Imkander which delivered polystyrene plates to the camp just before one week from this visit determined that camp habitants needed carpets and the carpet was provided within 1 week by Imkander.

Refugees expressed that they could use the generator provided by Imkander in previous months only a few hours in the evening and they could not meet many requirements due to lack of power.

We Imkander hereby declare that until electric shortage problem would be solved we will keep the problem in agenda, we will inform Yalova Power Administration and Ankara and we will share such information with public media.

We believe that another unjust treatment must not be applied to war weary families by Turkey in which there are shaheed spouses and children and invite officials to do what is necessary we believe they are sensitive to the subject.
