As part of the "Don’t Forget Your Brother" campaign, IMKANDER regularly delivers hot iftar dishes to the oppressed who struggle to hold on to life in Syrian refugee camps.
The association delivers both food packets and iftar dishes to thousands of people who
struggle to survive in the refugee camps, a sea of tents built on mud. Throughout the month of
Ramadan, we will try to deliver iftar food in these camps to contribute to the climate of
brotherhood.
IMKANDER Head Office called out “You can serve iftar food for only 10 TL. We package each and every food under hygienic conditions and offer to our brothers before the hour of iftar. In a world stormed by coronavirus, we shared the photos of the breads we cooked in our homes. Now is the time to share these breads in real with our brothers on iftar tables.”
We remember our refugee brothers
Reaching out to the oppressed all around the world, IMKANDER continues to help people who are 65+ and subject to lockdown, chronically ill or orphans.
Especially in Istanbul and Gaziantep, the teams deliver bread, food and coal to families who are unable to get out of their homes.
The refugees who came to Turkey due to war and occupation also lost their jobs due to the virus. Continuing their lives under severe conditions, their condition is further worsened by unemployment. Therefore, we focus on our activities to help refugees in these difficult days we experience.
We deliver hot bread before iftar
During the month of Ramadan, our teams regularly deliver hot bread and food in territories where refugees has a dense population and there is a lockdown.
