İMKANDER Chairman Murat Özer made an explanation and stated that relief organisations can now deliver humanitarian aids and life is turning back to normal ain the territory after the Free Syrian Army (FSA) supported by the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) saved the district centre of Al Bab in the north of Syria from ISIS.
Özer highlighted that İMKANDER was the first organisation to step in the territory together with AFAD teams once Al Bab was cleaned from ISIS.
Indicating that provisions package consisting of dry foods, milk and baby formula were delivered to 1500 families in the centre of Al Bab and in the nearby villages, Özer ended his remarks as follows: "It gives us new hopes to see that the local community is now free thanks to the Operation "Euphrates Shield". We were the last relief organisation to take leave in Aleppo, and we had martyrs. It is a source of pride for us to be the first to step in the liberalised territories.".
