Good deeds of relief organisations from Turkey put a smile on the face of people that have been struggling for life at the war territories of the Islamic world.
Well-known for the aid delivered to refugees that were forced to leave their homeland due to war and occupation, IMKANDER sent off teams to war territories and distributed qurbani meats there.
Syria, Gazza, Pankisi Valley
Valley Pankisi in Georgia at the border of Chechnya was another address to deliver Qurbani meats to the people that took shelter at jerry-built tents set up on the debris of their house in the provinces of Aleppo and Idleb of Syria, which was wiped off by Assad's regime.
Prevented from carrying out activities on occupied territories simply because the Russian Federation, which has occupied Chechnya, refused to issue a work permit to IMKANDER in the region, and also because of the threats of pro-Russian regime of Ramzan Kadirov, IMKANDER sent of its teams to the Valley Pankisi on the border line. Having fled from the attacks of Russia and militia of Kadirov, nearly 10 thousand Chechenian refugees are present in the region. 250 thousand refugees have spread throughout the world from Chechnya due to ongoing war that broke off in 1994.
Some of these refugees are in Turkey. The association also made a qurbai organisation in Turkey mainly for the Chechens that took shelter in Turkey, in addition to Caucasian, Syrian and Central Asian refugees. 15 kg sacrifice meat was delivered to each household where orphans were living in the absence of adult males, and 4 kg sacrifice meat was delivered to the refugees in need. Another war territory included in the schedule of the association is Gaza, which has been attacked by and resisted to Israel. Collaborating with the partner establishment in Gaza, the association announced that further works will be carried out in Gaza, Ramallah and Jerusalem in the forthcoming years.
