Students studying in the fourth grade of IMKANDER's school for refugees that provide education to gradually more students on a yearly basis were conferred upon with their certificate of graduation and graduated.
First a cinevision of students studying at IMKANDER's school for refugees were shown, followed by a session of reading Holy Quran by small refugee children that receive education at the school. Esmaul Husna and the hadiths recited by small children were impressive.
“This is a meaningful stage that demonstrates we are an ummah.”
Murat Ozer, the President of IMKANDER, expressed that the schools for refugees who live on the basements were improved, and he continued his remarks as follows: "These children were made to pay price, and they finally took shelter in us. Their martyr fathers entrusted them to us. Their educational life began on a basement floor and we made every effort to ensure the conditions are expanded and improved. The educational sessions firstly began with very few numbers of students, and reached hundreds of students now. We endeavour to do everything we can to make sure the refugee children feel themselves home here.
The children did not speak Turkish in the beginning, whereas they improved their language skills for Turkish by virtue of the education they received. Their families were also provided with education. Today, you can possibly see children from many races here on this stage, and this is a priceless stage demonstrating that we are one unified nation that embraces each member. I would love to give thanks to our reverend teachers that provide education to them all."
The programme ended as the certificates of graduation were conferred upon with the students and the gifts were presented for the top three students.
