Firas Ebu İslam, a relief officer of İMKANDER in Aleppo was severely wounded at Assad regime's assault on December 7.
Firas, who was undergoing his treatment, became a martyr shortly after.
İMKANDER Chairman Murat Özer made the following statement on social media after Firas, one of relief officers of İMKANDER in Aleppo, lost his life:
Statement by İMKANDER:
Our Officer in Aleppo Martyred.
10.12.2016
Firas Ebu İslam, our beloved Turkmen brother, a relief officer in Aleppo under siege, was martyred by an air assault by Assad's regime. Our team was exposed to air assaults when delivering relief on April 26, 2016, and Firas was lucky to have no wounds then.
Firas worked day and night for the Syrian people, and this morning he fell martyr at the hospital he was being treated.
Baschar Assad's regime is one of the most violent dictatorship on the face of earth and it continues to have bloodshed in Syria with support from Russia and Iran. 200 thousand innocent people in Aleppo ware waiting to death to come desperately, and beloved brothers like Firas, who refused to quit his home, and instead chose to help the oppressed, fall one by one and even in ten before our eyes.
Assad's regime continues bloodshed without caring to see if it is a hospital, a school, or a relief officer, doctor, child, woman, elderly, but for sure it will consume itself. Neither history nor God will forgive those who do not do anything but watch what is going on in Aleppo.
May God's mercy and grace be upon him. We announce to public with respect that we are going to carry on with this task of humanity.
Murat ÖZER
