Dentists we contracted as association started to work. Imkander Chairman Nuray Bezirgan stated that they healed teeth problem of 30 women and children within 1 month and added that they will solve teeth health of all immigrant women and children in turn.
Bezirgan stated that they give such service with restricted facilities and added; "we wish to eliminate troubles of all but we have limited facilities and therefore primarily shaheed relatives (wife, mother, child) and then those who don‘t have husband or son here and then prisoners' families and at last families of handicapped veterans" will benefit from teeth health service.
Bezirgan stated that they give priority to women and children having toothache informed that they satisfy exodontic, rooth canal therapy, stopping, crown and prosthesis requirements.
Bezirgan stated that they assumed urgent examination, surgery and recipe costs of women and children for 1 year added that medical doctors, hospitals and pharmacy shops which could assist on this issue have responsibility on the matter.
As known, Caucasian immigrants cannot benefit from social security since they are not recognized as refugees in Turkey. Immigrants who are not permitted to work have been experiencing serious troubles on health, education, residence permit and sheltering.
