The immigrants in exile in Turkey suffer.
The immigrants have innumerable problems in Turkey in exile by leaving their homes and lands behind due to the occupation and torture the Russia conducts in the Caucasia and in the Chechnya in particular. The Caucasia immigrants are dependant upon the donations of the charitable people and sensitive non-governmental organizations, since they are not allowed to be immigrant and right to work for living. Mostly, the children of the Chechnian immigrant suffer from all these. The children are deprived from the status of immigrant and nationality and therefore, they are allowed to take part in the classes as guest students only. They are left all alone without any diploma.
The school addresses all sects of the Ummah.
Murat OZER, General President of IMKANDER, said that 75 children have provided with training in four different languages in IMKANDER Bashak Caucas Culture Center operated by IMKANDER. He continues: “Our center provides training on behalf of Chechnian, Azeri, Dagestani, Circassian, Tatar, Ingushetian and Uzbekian etc. children. All our teachers, except Turkish teacher, are immigrant. By this way, we also provide the means of employment on behalf of immigrant women and make their living. We also provided Turkish on behalf of children’s mothers. Now, we provide training on behalf of Syrian women as well.”
Looking for charitable people
IMKANDER Bashak Caucas Culture Center are funded by the charitable people. Mrs. Tamara, Mathematic teacher and immigrant, said that the charitable people should make further contributions should the conditions of immigrant people be better off. IMKANDER tries to extend its helping hand to the Chechnian’s and other Caucasian immigrant, thanks to the contributions of the charitable people, however, their efforts are not enough.
Government stop uncertainty
IMKANDER officials list the steps to be taken by the government on behalf of the Chechnian immigrants, which will be true solution of the people immigrated from the Chechnya in their lives in exile: The most important problem the Chechnian immigrant are faced is providing permanent residence and employment permission. The public officials have promised the right for the citizenship; however, no progress has obtained in this regard until now. The matter is in an uncertain state. The solution of the problem by the government is expected. We look forward for a step in solution of the problem completely.”
Orphans looking for support
Gulten Ozkan, Public Training Teacher, who is assigned by Public Training Center to teach Turkish to the immigrant women and children states that she observe due diligence to make contribution. She continues:
“The demand is exceptionally high. Our classrooms are insufficient.
We will accept more people if we would have better infrastructure. We request the charitable people to visit IMKANDER and have information on the problems.
They may also visit Internet website. The majority of these are orphan children’s. Here, we live together with the orphan children. Everyone should observe due diligence to give their helping hand.”
