Imkander Women Commission visited the camp to observe the conditions of 34 families and to deliver aids who are trying to survive in shelters so-called homes under a mosque for a period approximately 10 years.
Some of our sisters burst into tears against the screen they witnessed.
Information was received from camp representative Mr. Adem and list of necessities has been prepared visiting families.
Foodstuff, winter clothes and medical stuff are provided by Imkander to 34 families staying in Ümraniye camp.
Camp habitants appreciated Imkander for the aids provided. Imkander Woman commission meeting with patients staying in the camp promised to negotiate some hospitals for surgery of a veteran who lost a foot during the war.
Imkander did not forget the children in the camp. Toys were distributed to the children by Imkander Volunteers.
Camp representative Mr. Adem stated their electric water heater was broken and an Imkander Volunteer businessman favored for the water heater.
