The war immigrants living in Turkeyunder severe conditions are provided with the health services, thanks to the efforts of the volunteer doctors and NGOs.
The children shared their happiness upon health screening conducted in cooperation of IMKANDER and Polestar Health Volunteers Association.
There are about 1 million Syrians and ten thousands of Asian and Caucasian immigrants sheltered inTurkey.
Asian and Caucasian children aren't provided with the health facilities, since they are deprived from any legal status.
The efforts are under progress upon joint initiatives of non-governmental organizations operating in the field of the health to provide health services to immigrant women and children.

Witnessing the health screening conducted in IMKANDER’s Immigrant School at Başakşehir, Istanbul, Dr. Abdullah Daştan, President of Polestar Health Volunteers Association stated that they observed the illness of innumerable children and organized the means of treatments thereof, thanks for the joint initiative conducted.
Dr. Selahattin Semiz, Chief Doctor ofAfiyetHospital, supporting the health screening operations, said thatTurkeyhad turned out to be a safe island in the region and that he was very happy to see Turkish people backing the oppressed people today as it was the same in her history.
Uzbek war immigrants thanked to the doctors and other immigrants just like themselves by offering Uzbeki pilaf.
The health screening included the blood and urine assays, X-ray screening and ultrasonic examinations.
The screening conducted by 15 doctors who were experts in the fields of ear, nose and throat, women parturition, children and internist. Screening conducted on 300 immigrant and respective treatment operations were commenced.
