Imkander which is concerned mainly with the families of shaheed, resistant and handicapped veterans started a training program for the families residing in Basaksehir of which number is increasing every passing month.
Mainly Arabic and Turkish languages, Mathematic, science, social sciences and other courses in Chechenian and Russian languages are introduced to boy and girls in separate classes with the program which our association started.
Imkander Board Member Ömer E. Bezirgan stated that they will start Turkish Language and needlecraft courses for mothers soon added "We discussed the subject with Basaksehir District Governorship and Public Training center. We take these courses very important to adapt the families to Turkish society and they will fill a gap. Our first target is to teach them Turkish language as much as they would need in daily life. Then we will organize professional courses related to hand craft. It will give advantage to be in social life and form a resource to them in economical meaning.“
Bezirgan told that they are planning the same application for the families living in Zeytinburnu and added “If we find a sponsor in Zeytinburnu, we will start the same application there. We are conscious that only supplying is not sufficient. Training is the most important investment to these children. We are trying to achieve these goals as well as providing economical aids."
