Set off for conveying the alimentary products in Syria, members of İMKANDER Board of Directors have been successful in delivering human aid to Syrian people.
İMKANDER mission decided to set off to convey the basic alimentary products to Syrian people. They crossed Syrian border and distributed the products to those who were deprived from drinks and foods.
Under the motto of “we are a single ummah from Caucasia to Middle East”, İMKANDER conveyed its donation consisted mainly from the alimentary products to Syrian people, after its donation made on behalf of Caucasian emigrants during whole month of Ramadan.
About 1000 women, elderly people and children under the shelter of a primary school building in Atma, near Aleppo, who fled away from the centers like Deyr ez Zor, Hama and Humus were those who enjoyed the foodstuff delivered, including flour, sugar, oil, macaroni and pea.
In his statement on the subject matter, Murat Özer, General President, İMKANDER, stated the ummah of Islam could not be remain silent any more while Syrian people lived in prison under the oppression of Bashar Assad Regime. He added: “Those who sheltered in the primary school building were consisted of infants, children, elderly people and women. There was no power supply and they were deprived of fresh water for two days. There was neither fresh water nor service water for cleaning purposes. Therefore, many of them have already been ill. That has been mostly influential onto the children. There were many who seek to come to Turkey. On the other hand, the permission is available only for those holding a passport. Here, our brothers are tested with famine, still they are robust in their determination and beliefs. No cruel would ever resist in front of such a belief.” Murat Özer said that İMKANDER would do its best to extend its helping hand to Syrian people and called Turkish people to be in solidarity with their brothers who resist to Assad’s attacks.
They said that Syrian children welcomed the aid mission by shouting "Lebbeyk Ya Allah!” and “God Save Mujahidin!” Turkish aid mission has been extreme source of moral for those children and women who shouted in favor of Free Syrian Army and Turkey.
Wounded and Patients Seeking Aid
The heavy wounded people are transferred to the hospitals through Turkish Borders. It is said that the epidemic is seen within those zones where no supply of power and water is likely within Syria. There might be further losses if no medicine, water and nutrition are conveyed to those emergency areas.
The region where İMKANDER conveyed the aid is completely ruined by Baas powers. Along the road no building remained undestroyed. The animals suffered from bombing in addition to the people. The corpses of the animals shot during bombing by air raid stink heavily. Some of them were buried however, the air raid is uninterrupted in some region and therefore, they failed burying.
İMKANDER Mission surveyed the region upon delivering the aid. The mission interviewed so many people with casualties in their family members by Assad forces, the mission returned back to Turkey by the determination to set to work for combining further mission convoy.
