Humanitarian Defence and Brotherhood Association (IMKANDER) teams delivered boot and
coat aids to 500 children who live in the camps of Idlib, Syria.
Sait Gökdere, IMKANDER Gaziantep Representative, said that they were struggling to
support the Syrians who try to live far from the war in a territory cleared by Turkish Armed
Forces (TSK), and added:
“There is a fuel shortage in the region. Electricity is very limited most of which is supplied
with generators. The temperature, on the other hand, gradually decreases and is below zero.
Most children are ill. They walk barefoot in mud and freezing cold. As an association, we try
to do everything we can. Every day, we deliver bread and attempt to provide winter clothes in
those camps. There are great difficulties though. We request support from the citizens.”
Gökdere stated that they would continue to feel sorry for the trouble of these people and that
they would also help as long as possible.
