Bakırköy Attorney General initiated the case on Chechens murders upon concluding the investigation on murders committed in Istanbul resulting the dead of 4 Chechens.
In its press meeting on the subject matter with the participation the families of murdered Chechens, IMKANDER announced that the murders were committed by Alexander Zharkov and Nadim Ayupov, in association with Temur Makhauri, whose code name was Zona, which was proved by the final evidences.
The press meeting was participated by Ömer Bezirgan, Vice President of IMKANDER, Imran Abdulazimov, founder member of IMKANDER, Islam Ataev, nephew of Ali Osaev, murdered and other members of murdered Chechens.
During the press meeting, Murat Özer, President of IMKANDER said in his explanations: “The Attorney General concluded the investigation on the assassinations of 4 Chechens in Istanbul in 2009 and 2011 and the case is initiated. The case file consisted of 3,000 pages includes the testimonies of tens of people, innumerable camera shooting, video shooting of Zona, imprisoned as the allegation of killing Ali Osaev, during his negotiation with Russian intelligence agent, hundreds of photographs and intelligence information. The veil of mystery of “Chechens’ Murders” is opened upon the investigation conducted by the Attorney, Istanbul Police Department and Turkish Intelligence Service and extremely striking information is obtained on the assassinations conducted against leaders of Caucasian resistance within and outside the country, in addition to those related with these murders.
Pointing out on the fact that, the murders of Bergkhaz Musaev, Rustem Altemirov and Zaurbek Amriev at Zeytinburnu, Istanbul on September 16, 2011, have almost solved, Özer continued: “It was proved, via camera shootings and statements of the eyewitnesses, without any suspicion whatsoever, that the persons named Alexander Zharkov and Nadim Ayupov took Ford Mondeo vehicle they rented before from the parking area and arrived to Zeytinburnu, killed 3 Chechens there, left the scene with the same vehicle and left the vehicle with the doors opened.
Zona, suspect of Ali Osaev met with Russian Intelligence in Istanbul
Zona was arrested atAtaturkAirportwhile leavingTurkey, whose negotiations with Bashir Kushtov, the agent of Russian Intelligence Service by Turkish Agents.
Temur Makhauri, whose code name was Zona was determinet to visit Turkey 65 times with the passports issued on behalf of Temur Makhauri, whose code name was Zona, when he was arrested at the airport. It is said that Zona was the murderer, as evidenced by the camera shooting at the tame of the murder.
Zona involved in Shemseddin Batukayev’s assasination attempt
Zona was determined as being in connection with Bahram Batukaev, who is suspected attempting the assasination of Shemseddin Batukayev, Former Sheikh al-Islam of Chechnya on October 7, 2011. Batukaev confessed, during his testimony, that it was Zona who gave him the gun with silencer and spare magazine inTrabzon which he carried when he was caught.
Murat Özer, President of IMKANDER said that Turkish Intelligence Service provided the court with the information obtained during pursuit on Zona’s activities in Turkey. He continued: “Turkish Intelligence Service achieved to an extremely important document on Temur Makhauri, whose code name was Zona. According to that, Zona met Bashir Kushtov three times, who was said to be agent of FSB, Russian Intelligence Service. Aslan Dakaev, whose code name is Umar took part in one of the meetings held in Istanbul on July 5, 2012. According to the record kept by Zone, he and Umar accepted the new assassination plan offered by Russian Intelligent Service for Euro 500,000. According to the plan, they were busy in the plot for the assassination of these persons, as seen on the video record. Zona confessed that one of these they met was Movladi Udugov, Former Information Minister ofChechnya. The name of one another person was Ebu Rabia. The record provided that one of the murderer considered the plot for the assassination of Albet Umarov, big brother of Emir Dokko Umarov unsafe for his personal safety and declined to participate, however, he promised to give his helping hand. After these conversations, Zona was arrested on the way toEgyptfromIstanbulAirporton October 19, 2012. At that time, Ahmet Umarov is known to be inEgypt. After the recorded negotiation Zona took part, he was known to meet FBS agent twice on August 24, 2012 and October 14, 2012, which was participated by Aslan Dakaev, whose code name vas Umar, as evidenced by the visuals obtained by Turkish Intelligence Service covertly. It was clear that FSB agent delivered the money in the case to Zone during their last meeting.
Murat Özer said that they would observe due diligence to have the decision adopted independently without any pressure whatsoever. Ha also requested Turkish Government consider the works accomplished by its own intelligence agents, security forces and legislative organs to reach againstRussian Federation.
Hattab and Shamil Basayev Killed?
The information note sent by Turkish Intelligence Service included remarkable information on the persons taking part in the negotiations. Zona is said to be the person who obtained the guns from Georgia and furnished the truck in the event of explosion of gun laden track when Shamil Basayev, Chechens’ legendary commander, was killed. The images revealed that Zona conducted the conspiracy for killing Hattab, one of the most important commanders of Chechens, with poisonous letter in combination with Umar. It is known that it was Umar who assassinated Dagestan courier without trial, who delivered the poisonous letter to Hattap.

“The General Attorney concluded the investigation on the assassinations of 4 Chechens in Istanbul in 2009 and 2011 and the case is initiated. The case file consisted of 3,000 pages includes the testimonies of tens of people, innumerable camera shooting, video shooting of Zona, imprisoned as the allegation of killing Ali Osaev, during his negotiation with Russian intelligence agent, hundreds of photographs and intelligence information. Upon interrogation conducted, the murders of Bergkhaz Musaev, Rustem Altemirov and Zaurbek Amriev at Zeytinburnu, Istanbul on September 16, 2011, have solved to agent extend and those who were agent of these murders were spotted. The persons named Alexander Zharkov and Nadim Ayupov, working for Russian Intelligence Service, FBS, realized the murders on September 3, 2011 and conducted series of activities inIstanbuluntil September 16, 2011. The determinations was made from the camera shootings on said persons who hired 5 different cars in their stay in Istanbul, used Ford Mondeo make car they hired on September 4 and left it at the parking lot in Bakırkoy, after coating its windows with a black folio and again conducted the explorations in various districts of Istanbul with other cars whose windows were again covered with black folio. The murder suspects took the vehicle they rented before from the parking area and arrived to Zeytinburnu, killed 3 Chechens there left the scene with the same vehicle and left the vehicle with the doors opened. Unfortunately, they couldn’t be prevented from escaping abroad using other passports. The initiatives were made against the FSB agents under their names as provided under their passport used during entering into Turkey, however, Russia declined to respond the request by alleging that the persons were claimed as citizens of foreign countries. The passports used were determined as a fake.
The important information was obtained on Temur Makhauri, whose code name was Zona in the course of investigation conducted on the assassination of Musa Ali Osaev, in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul in February 26, 2009. When Zona, the murderer suspect was determined to visitTurkey65 times with the passports issued on behalf of Temur Makhauri, whose code name is Zona, when he was arrested at the airport. No information is available on how many times he visitedTurkeyin disguised with other passports.
It is said that Zona was the murderer, as evidenced by the camera shooting at the tame of the murder. IMKANDER announced that the Russian State backed these assassinations right after the realization the murders and Turkish Jurisdiction confirmed that for the first time in the course of time. It is clear, looking at the due diligence observed by Turkish Intelligence Service, Turkish Security forces and General Attorney conducting the investigation fastidiously to prevent covering the murders. It was announced that Russian State was the real offenders of assassination of Chechens’ leaders, as revealed by Qatar Jurisdiction by capturing Russian agents who murdered Zelimhan Yandarbiyev, former Chechnya President and imprisoned for life, Austria jurisdiction for the assassination committed in that country and efforts of Paris Attorney General. Now we hope that Turkish Jurisdiction conclude the similar verdict. We hope that Turkish jurisdiction and security forces will, from now on, observe due diligence for the protecting the lives of those Caucasian immigrants who live in Turkey without a shelter, lack of someone who will take care of, prevent the assassinations likely and take necessary precautions. Likewise, we expect Turkish Government consider the works undertaken by her own intelligence service, security forces and jurisdiction and react to Russian Federation to the fullest extent as possible.
We, as IMKANDER, hereby declare to the esteemed public media that we will observe our due diligence to ensure the decision adopted away from all kind of pressure upon the case opened.
