War immigrant children and their mothers continue their training in Istanbul.
Taking part in training program organized by İMKANDER since last three years, the children and their mothers received their Performance and Turkish Language Certificates.
In his presentation during the program organized in Kayaşehir Mevlana Primary School, Murat Ayar, board member of the association summarized training activities conducted by the association thanks to the human donations and called the help of Turkish Muslim to act in the conscious of “the Ansar” and back the operations.
“We opened our doors to our Syrian brothers and Sisters after Caucasians.”
In his speech during the ceremony, Murat Özer, President of İMKANDER then said: “Our Immigrant Study Center is in operation since last year to support training to mostly orphan children from different regions of Caucasia and Center Asia, and provide basic courses like Mathematics, Turkish and Social Sciences on behalf of those who cannot attend to the school since they don’t have residence permissions. This year, we opened our doors on behalf of Syrian immigrant women in addition to Caucasian women and young girls. We ensured graduations of our second group who successfully completed their Turkish language trainings and now deliver their certificates. While we are grateful to God who helps us in performing such important missions with our limited capabilities, we also thank to those charitable people who helped us in such a distressed period with their pecuniary and non-pecuniary means.
During certificate ceremony, the boys and girls have got on the stage and read short sura from Quran, hadiths and poems. The children have provided with their performance certificates and various gifts.
After children’s performances, Syrian and Caucasian women were invited to the stage. The women who were successful in their one-year Turkish language training had deceived their certificates from Gülten Özkan, Turkish Teacher of People Training Center.
Pointing out of the fact that they had some comfort by helping hand of their Turkish brothers and somehow relieved their sorrow since they were away from their homes, the speeches of Syrian women created enthusiasm in the hall.
