Separated around the world, Chechen, Circassian, Dagestan, Tatar and Turkish origin of the Caucasian people representatives, gathered at the "2nd International Caucasus Conference" which was held in Barcelo Eresin Hotel due to Circassian exile of the 150th anniversary.
Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr.Özer, in 21 May 1864, stated that genocide took place in the real sense, and told, from that date to disperse of the Caucasian people to different parts of the world.
Mr. Ozer stating that Imam Shamil, who struggled until he had no soldier left, declared a ceasefire, and told “This date, Russian army and generals who came to Sochi, declared that no Muslims could ever live in the land of Caucasus anymore, and that was the day, Russia was accepted in the land of Caucasus. From that day on, most of Circassian tribes, whole of Ubihs nearly a hundred thousand people had to immigrate to Anatolia. Almost 4 million people emigrated. Independent historians are stating that almost five hundred people lost their lives in genocide.”

Ozer stated that Caucasian territory within a few days had been occupied by hundreds of thousands of Russian soldiers, and some tribes completely erased, that it's none in the world of a society happen, too large to be a disaster, adding that "the Caucasian peoples, such as Chechens, Circassians and Dagestan suffered from the genocide. The entire world would know about you as ravenous terrorists, not as the people who would defend their own country, land and religion.’ That, showed this to Caucasian Muslims, to global powers; No. Caucasian refugees might have immigrated to different places of the world. This became a glimmer of hope to them. ‘We could tell our cause, our beliefs, in the means of academic, politic and historic. By using every tool we could stand against the invading Russian imperialism.’ This conference is a small step. I hope Caucasian people are going to reach to a further point by their will that they put forth.”

The first conference published in the declaration of the whole Caucasus rights partners represent the common will, stating Ozer, in this declaration, instead of ethnic nationalism "We are Caucasian people" that it was said, whatever America and Russia imposed solutions were against the Muslims, the fully independent united Caucasus demand, has been noted.
Ozer stated that this, up sided down all the calculations of Russia, and he made evaluations;

The Finnish moderator of the conference after the opening, the human rights activist Mikail Storjso, by stating that the event is a successful study to gather all Caucasian people, said that “Caucasian people cannot defy against the great enemy, coming from the North. It will only be succeeded if they unite. I’m coming from Finland. My grandfathers made it. I hope one day you will make it through.”
At the conference, Qatar Ahmad Al Hawari "Occupation and Terror in Russia's Caucasus Policy", from Belgium Danilbek Edilkhanov "Exile Results of the Greater Caucasus and the Holocaust", Dr. Jordan. Shisha Osama al-Thani "in the Caucasus, the Russian occupation as a result of assimilation and cultural corruption", the Georgia Gela Khamaladze "New Trends in Imperialism in the Caucasus", and Shamil Magomedov Kamilovich from Dagestan "Human Rights Violations" made a presentation entitled.
Jordan, Poland, Belgium, Austria, Egypt, Germany, participated in the conference from many countries of the Caucasus, met the refugees in exile in 1864 and 1944.
After the conference, Chechen, Ingush, Circassians, Dagestan, Tatar, Kumuk, Karachay delegates belonging to the different peoples of the Caucasus, the first work meeting of the Congress of People of the Caucasus was performed.
Decisions of the Congress of People of the Caucasus
In the Congress, delegates began with the selection of members of the Committee and the President.
Several members of the Caucasian peoples that took place with the participation of 60 delegates in Congress, by a majority vote of all delegates, Ahmet Umarov was elected President of the Congress.
Congress, on behalf of the Diaspora in various countries decided to make political and cultural activities.
At the end of the third hour-long convention of delegates was declared a declaration jointly with the decision.
In the declaration, while Russian invasion and the authorities sided with Russia was being rejected, to Ukraine and Georgia who are under threat of Russia, solidarity message were given.
The Congress, also, in drastic condemning Crimea by Russia "the essential elements of the Crimean Tatars of Crimea" was emphasized.
