İMKANDER teams delivered flour to Aleppo people that struggle to survive in bombardments by Russia and Assad's regime in Syria. İMKANDER teams present at the region gave support to the activity conducted by Prime Ministry Disaster and Emergency Management Administration and reliefs were delivered to the oppressed based on the lists prepared.
500 thousand loaves of bread per day
Flour delivered from turkey in collaboration of İMKANDER & AFAD was delivered to 10 thousand families living in Jarabulus and Choban Bayk districts of Aleppo in Syria.
Gaziantep office Head Sait GÖKDERE reflected as follows: "We delivered four to 10 thousand oppressed families in Syria up until today. After Jarabulus was recovered from ISIS by the soldiers of Free Syria Army supported by the Turkish Armed Forced, our works in the region accelerated. The idle bread factory was reactivated as the first thing to do. We can make and distribute 500 thousand breads per day in the region at the present." Gökdere added that flour was being delivered to the people who could not manage to reach the bread factory.
